Movie - "Extraordinary Measures" 
This movie stars Harrison Ford, Brendan Fraser and Keri Russel.  The movie is based on the book, The Cure, about the power, love and faith against impossible odds in finding a cure for a terrible disease going against the entire medical establishment of the time.
As usual popcorn and beverage will be available.

Senior Adults will meet at 8:30 am at the Community Life Center on Thursday, Oct 25, to go by church vehicle to breakfast at the Egg and I located on Thomas Drive.  So we can have a head count, call the Church Office, 763-6537, by Tuesday, Oct 23.


Crafty Ladies- Wednesdays
9-11 am - Trinity Center, Room 12
Do you enjoy crafts of any kind? If so, bring your project and come join the fun! Following our time of crafting, you are invited to join us for lunch (dutch treat). For more information contact Suzanne at 763-6537 ext 19.


FUMC offers and opportunity for anyone who wants to enjoy some friendly competition, either experienced or wanting to learn to play cribbage, to come to the Community Life Center Bride's Room on Wednesdays at 3:30 pm and play until 4:45 pm prior to Fellowship Supper. 

Hand and Foot

Played on Fridays at 12:30 pm in the Trinity Center Room 2. Hand and Foot is a version of Canasta, is easy to learn, stimulating, relaxing, and a lot of fun to play. Come learn how to play and join in the fun. We Have all the materials needed and are happy to help newcomers learn how to play.

Agape Clothes and Cleanliness Closet

The Agape Clothes and Cleanliness Corner opens each Saturday as a ministry of the First United Methodist Church Community Breakfast.  We are so grateful to all of you who have been contributing to the various ministries of the Community Breakfast.  We know that many of you have clothes that you would like to donate to the Agape Clothes and Cleanliness Closet. Please bring the clothes only on Friday afternoons during the breakfast set-up
(after 4 pm) or on Saturday mornings as early as possible (open at 6:45 am) to the Trinity Center, not the Church Office or the Food Pantry. Facilities are only available in the Trinity Center. 

Hygiene items are also passed out each week.  These items are consumable and in demand weekly.  They may still be dropped into the black buckets located in the lobby of each building.  Items needed are as follows:
Small Size - Deodorant, Shampoo, Conditioner, Lotion, Kleenex
Any Size - Soap, Toothpaste
Other Items - Toothbrushes, Razors, Chapstick, Hand Sanitizer, Combs
Monetary donations are always welcome! - Checks made to FUMC, Memo - Community Breakfast.

Thank you for your many donations.  If you are looking for a place to serve please join us in the Trinity Center on Fridays at 4 pm for set up and on Saturdays at 7 am for breakfast.  You will be blessed!
