Pre-Pro Basketball

PrePro Basketball is a four week instructional program. Its design is to help parents/guardians work one-on-one with their children while teaching everyone the basic concepts of basketball, dribbling, shooting, passing and defense.

Hatha Yoga

Mrs. Tammy is teaching a hatha yoga class. They meet Tuesday evenings at 5pm to about 6pm. Hatha yoga is the most widely practiced form of yoga in America. It is the branch of yoga which concentrates on physical health and mental well-being. Hatha yoga uses bodily postures, breathing techniques, and meditation with the goal of bringing about a sound, healthy body and a clear, peaceful mind. There are nearly 200 hatha yoga postures, with hundreds of variations, which work to make the spine supple and to promote circulation in all the organs, glands, and tissues. Hatha yoga postures also stretch and align the body, promoting balance and flexibility. The class meets in the youth room on the second floor of the Community Life Center.
